We want that with our research we contribute to discover new effective treatments for these devastating diseases, and even prevent them.
MISSION:
To understand the complex causes of neurodegenerative diseases, and decipher what there is in each person’s particular life that makes them more susceptible to suffering from one disease or another.
VALUES:
Our lab investigates neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s, ALS, and frontotemporal dementia, focusing on their multifaceted causes and systemic impacts, including effects on metabolism and lifestyle factors. We adopt a holistic, multifactorial strategy in our research, integrating multi-omics and personalized medicine to develop tailored patient solutions.
